TWO SD7S FOR WIGWAM HIRE |

Not one, but two SD7s now grace the Wigwam Hire Department, where they make the perfect addition to its existing DiGiCo stock. Although Hire Director Chris Hill and Digital Specialist Alex Hadjigeorgiou are already well versed in the attributes of DiGiCo technology, the investment warranted a day at the company’s headquarters in Surrey to fully evaluate the SD7 - the result being their order for two consoles. Training sessions for the SD7 have already gone ahead at Wigwam’s Lancashire warehouse, which were run by Hadjigeorgiou for both Wigwam’s own staff and its freelance technicians. “We have a constant requirement for digital mixing consoles and the demands being made on them increase all the time,” says Hill. “Once we’d seen what the SD7 was capable of, it made perfect sense for us to invest in a product that has the capacity to take on whatever anyone can throw at it now and well into the future. We anticipate a very busy time ahead for both consoles.” In fact, one SD7 is already being put through its paces by Front of House engineer Dave Bracey on Massive Attack’s summer tour, which includes Meltodown at London’s South Bank Centre, Glastonbury and a number of European dates.
