ADK has long been providing recording solutions for the live environment, from churches to rock 'n roll and theatre, producing nearly 400 machines with MADI connections for recording and/or plug-ins.

Now, ADK has put together a package that offers plug-in capability or a 56-track recorder for DiGiCo consoles, or 112 or even up to 160-track recorder. All this in a machine housed in a 4u rack mount case that is only 20 inches deep, with up to 640G of audio storage and two removable HDD bays.

The Pick ‘n Mix solution also allows users to specify specific plug-in cards for their favourite effects such as UAD, Waves & TC Powercore. Recordings are made in the industry standard BWAV allowing playback and editing in any software/DAW package.

Connection to the console is via just two MADI cables for plug-ins, record and playback or 56-tracks. All channels of playback are instant and with just one press of a button on the console and with no need to reboot – a feature that is unique to DiGiCo consoles.
